Beware of Out of Town Hail Damage Repairmen

You've seen them pop up all over the place.  Out of town repairmen coming to Billings to cash in on the recent hailstorm.  Here at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, where the Cat Country studios are located, the parking lot is full of insurance adjusters and traveling auto body specialists.  When you're dealing with these people, remember the old adage, you get what you pay for.

Sure, when the insurance company cuts you a check, you'll be tempted to put most of it in the bank and hire some guy on a street corner to get those dings out of your hood.  We've seen it happen so many times.  You try to save a few bucks, then six months later when your paint starts chipping, the guy who repaired those dents is long gone.

That's why the Flakes encourage everyone to support local businesses.  Even if they cost a little extra, it's worth it.  If you have any problems, those guys will still be there, operating in the same place they always have.  Local businesses can't afford to burn their customers, because they will still be here in 4 weeks.  And that's a huge difference.
