Recently, Forbes released the list of the top 10 best and worst states to earn a living.

Kathryn Dill, of the Forbes staff wrote the article and stated that scenic beauty had nothing to do with the results. Her rankings were completely based on healthy wages, manageable taxes, a low cost of living, and safe working environments.

Let's face it. It is really hard for most people to make ends meet these days and it is only getting harder for most folks.

So where did Montana fall on the list? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't good.

Yep, Montana is the seventh worst state to earn a living in, right behind California, despite Montana having no sales tax.

I won't lie to you. My family and I have struggled a bit since being here but are hopeful for the future, whatever it may hold.
