Cooking Gone Wrong
So, it was my turn to cook, which I like to do from time to time. I will be the first to admit that I am not the best at this though. In fact, my recipes are pretty limited.
In this case, I thought I would try something new. A simple recipe as most would say, but for me, I took it too far.
It was supposed to be spaghetti with meatballs and garlic bread.
It was close, but no cigar.
I boiled the noodles and made the pasta sauce out of the jar, but when I added it to meatballs, it went very wrong. The problem is, I don't even know why it went wrong and my wife, who is a great cook, couldn't explain what I did.
I dished out the plates to the family and as everyone took their first bites, the look of my failure became evident on their faces. I wasn't sure why they had these looks until I took my first bite.
It was horrible and I felt bad about it. How could I screw up spaghetti? I don't know, but I did.
End result? We loaded up and I treated the family to a much better dinner of tacos at Taco Johns on Main Street.
Have you ever had a cooking disaster?
