Fail?

I had a long list of errands to try and get through yesterday; this happened on the very first stop.

Do I move to another meter that works? Do I just run in super fast and get my business done here? Do I wait around and have an argument with the parking ticket people?

I went with going fast, but I'm going to make a "Fail" sign and keep it in my pickup and flash it at people.
