Flakesgiving 2011

It's that time again! The Breakfast Flakes and Cat Country 102.9 are ready to help those in need this holiday season with our annual Flakesgiving!

Thanksgiving meals will be assembled at MetraPark on Friday, November 18 at 10 am. The meals will be handed out at Noon on Saturday, November 19 at MetraPark. Meals this year include a 10-12 lb turkey, 5 lbs potatoes, cans of corn & black olives, 2 boxes mac & cheese, and rolls.

1500 complete meals will be assembled and given to the needy, each meal feeding a family of 5-7 people. The meals are free to anybody who shows up and stands in line. Limit 1 meal per person, and you must be at least 18 to receive a meal. There are no other requirements or paperwork necessary to receive a meal.

Meals will be deliveries to families who are unable to get to MetraPark on Saturday, November 19. These meals are reserved for those who have no driver's license, are ill, working during that time, etc. If you believe you qualify for a delivered meal, call the Townsquare Media Offices at 406-248-7827 prior to Friday, November 19 at 5 pm to reserve your meal.

How You Can Help

Volunteers are invited to come to the MetraPark Fairgrounds on Friday, November 18 at 10 or Saturday, November 19 at 10 am. Volunteers are especially needed on Saturday 11/19.

350 - 400 meals will need to be delivered on Saturday, 11/19, and volunteers are needed to drive that morning before the rest of the giveaway.

Cat Country and the Breakfast Flakes would like to thank Albertson's, who donated $10,000.00 to the fund and provides the food to us at cost.
