Grand Re-Opening Of Habitat’s ReStore This Friday (6/21)
Habitat For Humanity Mid-Yellowstone Valley opened their new ReStore location in April but it took a couple of months for the outpouring of donations to fill the more than 18,000 square feet of retail space and home improvement warehouse.
With the shelves and racks now filled with items, the grand re-opening celebration of ReStore will take place this Friday, June 21 from 10am to 6pm at 685 King Park Drive. Food trucks will be on-site starting at 11am and everything in the store will be 25 percent off during the event. Guests are invited to bring a non-perishable food items for the Billings Food Bank and be entered into hourly raffles for gift cards and other prizes.
Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, Christian housing ministry which builds houses in partnership with low income families. Businesses, churches, groups and individuals join the partnership to help eliminate poverty housing in our community. The families must put in at least 350-500 hours of sweat equity labor working on others’ houses as well as their own. After completion, Habitat sells the homes to the pre-qualified families at no profit and with a no-interest loan
Local dignitaries will join Habitat For Humanity for the ReStore ribbon cutting ceremony this Tuesday, June 18 at 10am.
