Holiday Vacation Fragments
"Don't misunderstand me. I'm not getting soft. All I want is a couple days off." -Huey Lewis
Yes, friends, it's time for our vacation. I call it "Christmas Vacation," not "Winter Break."
I'm looking forward to spending time with my family members that I've got. I also plan to spend time thinking about the family members that I've lost and being thankful for the time that I had with them. Although, it's not always easy to look at the bright side.
I took my daughter shopping to make sure that underprivileged kids could have a better Christmas. I'm thankful for her and her heart. She gets it, but NO, you cannot have an iPhone27 or whatever number we are up to now.
I'm going to try to get the old "Game Night" crew together. We used to get together about once a month and play cards and board games. We haven't done that in about 10 years.
There's an outside chance I'll play a round or 10 on the old Golden Tee video golf game. I'm about due for another hole in one.
Paul & I signed on for another three years this week. Another blessing in my life is, first of all, getting a job like this. And secondly, getting to do it in the same spot. Cat Country has been very good to me.
And, finally, I just want to thank everybody for listening for all these years (coming up on 32). And thanks for your support.
See you in 2020.
