Overnight: Stolen Car & Chase Ends With 1 Arrested in Billings
From the Billings Police Department:
Last night, around 11:09 PM, BPD officers were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle theft in the 0 block of Custer Avenue.
On arrival, officers located the vehicle nearby, at which point the driver fled BPD officers at high speed, going east on Montana Avenue.
BPD chose to not pursue the vehicle. 7 minutes after that decision, Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office deputies located the vehicle south of Billings and initiated a pursuit.
BPD's K9 Unit, and Drone Unit, were requested to assist YCSO.
The pursuit continued on back roads south of Billings until deputies deployed spike strips, which ended the pursuit shortly after spiking the vehicle.
Tiffany Medicinehorse, 43, was taken into custody without further incident.
She was remanded into the Yellowstone County Detention Facility for motor vehicle theft, criminal endangerment, fleeing, and for an unrelated outstanding warrant.
