Eagle Mount Billings Invites You to Cycle to Soar Benefit April 1
Eagle Mount was founded in the early 1980s in Bozeman, by retired Air Force General Robert C. Mathis and his wife Greta. The first ski program with Eagle Mount launched at Bridger Bowl in 1983 with the goal of serving 20 - 30 participants. A waiting list was quickly necessary, as 94 people applied to ski that first year.
Since its inception, Eagle Mount has grown beyond ski instruction.
Now, the non-profit provides hundreds of Montanans with disabilities an opportunity to bike, golf, ride horses, go rafting, swim, climb, day camp, and so much more. Eagle Mount has offices throughout the state.
Currently, there are three Eagle Mount organizations in Montana (Bozeman, Billings, and Great Falls). Although fiscally separate, these three organizations continue to uphold the original dream.

Hop on a stationary bike and raise some money!
Eagle Mount representative Lynn Mullowney Cabrera stopped by our studios this week to share details about a fun event coming up on Saturday, April 1st at the YMCA. It's their inaugural Cycle to Soar benefit, from 8 am to noon.
40 teams of six riders will each cycle (on stationary bikes) for 20-minute heats. Prizes will be awarded to top cyclists and top fundraisers and organizers promise "music, fun, and festivities" for all. Corporate sponsorship opportunities are still available.
