The Out of the Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide is coming up next month, so for August you can support this highly important cause on the golf course.

Golf Fundraiser, Saturday, August 3rd

This will be at the Exchange City Par 3 Golf Course at 19 S 19th Street West in Billings, from when it opens at 8:00 in the morning to the 6:00 close.  Par 3 will donate a portion of each golf fee to Out of the Darkness.

This fundraiser will require a tee time.  You can call 406-652-2553 to schedule.  You are also welcome to hit a bucketful of golf balls, one drive at a time.

During the day you can participate in a raffle and a 50-50 drawing.

Win Golf Clubs from Mitchell Golf!

All you need is a Hole-in-One.

Mitchell will give a set of Callaway golf clubs to the person who sinks a hole-in-one on the 9th hole.  Specifics on this contest will be available during the event.  They will have other activities and prizes there too.

Volunteers are Needed for the September Walk

The Yellowstone Valley Out of the Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide will be on Sunday, September 15th beginning at 12:30.  This is a life-saving event, quite literally.  It shows to the many who struggle that they are not alone, that others very nearby really do understand, and that there is a community in the community who what them to live and heal and thrive.

Before and during the event, volunteers will be essential to its logistical success.  You can help ensure that success.  Please email Nancy at YVOOTDwalk@gmail.com and let her know you want to lend a hand.

And while you're at it, give her a hand too, for all the invested time and effort she has given.
