Rebuliding a Relationship

What do you consider spending quality time with your family?  Is it going to a movie or for a walk?

Taking a family trip or just eating dinner together?

All though all of these are great ways to spend time with your family, I prefer the not so  traditional way of spending time with my son Triston.

I love helping my son rebuild his engine for his pickup.

He has a 1958 Chevrolet Apache 3200 long box stepside.

We are going put a fleetside on it and make it a 4x4 ranch pickup/daily/street truck.

We're putting a Cadillac 472 high compression, wide bore, big block in it and painting it the original two tone blue an white.

We will also put a 1984 Chevrolet Suburban 4 wheel drive frame under it.

This is a huge undertaking, but together we can do it and we get to spend some great quality time together and I am learning so much about engines.

My dad was a mechanic for many years, but I never really got into it until now.

We are not only rebuilding an engine, we are building great memories.
