When I was driving to work this morning I didn't really notice the smokey haze blanketing the town.  Once I got to the top floor of the Doubletree, it was a different story.

I wish I would have taken this picture about an hour sooner.  You can still see the haze in this picture, but it's definitely less spooky than it was around 10 a.m.

I know today doesn't compare to what we experienced last year, but it's a reminder that fire season isn't far away.  Hopefully mother nature and careless humans will give us a break this year.  If you've never seen Nasa's photos of the devastating fires of 2018, you should check them out.
