The First Snow Of The Year And The Colors Of Fall

As we experienced the first snow fall of the year today, I had to make a quick trip to Great Falls for a meeting tomorrow morning.  As I drove , I experienced a few different weather patterns.

First as I left Billings is was snowing and the road was pretty slushy.

As I approached Harlowton, the snow was heavier and the flakes were big and fluffy.

As I made the turn to head toward Lewistown and Great Falls, the snow was scares, but the road was wet.

As I pulled into Great Falls and headed for my hotel, I saw our Flag waving in the wind against the colors of fall.

I thought what a beautiful picture, seeing Old Glory waving in the wind as it snowed and rained against the trees that are turning.

What a majestic picture, it made me feel peaceful and grateful for what I have.
