This morning, Mark and Paul opened up the phones for your opinions about celebrities who endorse products.  Do they make you more likely, or in some cases less likely, to buy a product?

Interestingly, we have several women call in to profess their love for Sam Elliot.  They think his voice is so sexy that they will buy whatever he's selling.  Paul is a big Tom Selleck fan, and now that Magnum P.I. is promoting the RV industry, Paul's almost convinced to buy a fifth wheel and hit the road.  We also heard from a few folks who support Papa John's because of Peyton Manning.  Another lady called in to fondly recall product endorsements from the late, great Paul Harvey.

On the flip side, we heard from a bunch of people who won't buy a product because of the celebrity who endorses it.  One gal won't buy anything that Tiger Woods is schilling for.  Another gal boycotts products promoted by Jane Fonda, including her movies.  A couple listeners won't buy Heinz products due to their association with Secretary of State John Kerry. We also heard from a lady who thinks Michael Jordan is a terrible spokesman, but still buys Hanes underwear for her husband.

What about you?  Is there a celebrity pitchman (or woman) that influences your decisions?  Drop us a line and let us know, flakes103@yahoo.com.
