I have been doing a lot of soul searching lately. These past two weeks I have spent a lot of time with my family on the Hi-Line in Havre, in part dealing with some things with my Mom (she will be 82 in June). As we shared stories and memories of my dad (he passed December 2015), my nephew Ryan (he passed December 2015), my sister Angie (she passed April 2016) and my nephew Mike (he passed October 2018), I realized how fast time seems to be passing.

I received the photo above from my niece and it really hit home that these two precious little babies of mine are not so little anymore and are growing up so fast and will either soon be off to college (Bailey) or married (Triston). Bailey was the flower girl and Triston the ring bearer at my niece Heather's wedding September 23, 2006 (13 years ago this September) As many of you parents/grandparents I'm sure can relate, it seems like yesterday.

I sometimes wonder what I may have missed in life or what my life would have been like had I not gotten married and had kids. I do wish I would have gone to college or some other trade school besides broadcasting. Don't get me wrong, my choice of career has served me well, but as I get older, I wish I had something else to fall back on. With that being said, I can 100 percent tell you I'm sure my life up until this point wouldn't have been as full as it has been without my husband and children. I thank the lord above for letting me be their mother.

Do you have those times when it feels like life is zooming by? Do you ever feel like you missed something?
