It didn't get talked about very much but last Saturday, October 12, was the anniversary of the plane crash that killed John Denver.

I am and have always been a huge fan of him and his music. And usually, we will talk about him on air on this date because we can't do it on his birthday, which was December 31st.

I never got to see him in concert, so it was important to me to attend his induction into the Colorado Music Hall Of Fames inaugural class. And he was the first-ever inductee.

It was an evening of stories and music from his peers. If you care to see some of the highlights, you can buy the DVD. Then you can see a couple of the highlights from that night including Lee Ann Womack's rendition of "Sunshine On My shoulders", and "Boy From The Country."
