Does Anyone Care About Education?

If you have listened early lately you've noticed how upset I have been with the silence from School District 2. People should be outraged that only 32% of the kids taking the ACT test have a score high enough to get them into a state college. These kids are graduating and they're not proficient in math and reading. So, what are we doing? Why isn't this a serious situation getting immediate attention? We are not getting a return on our huge investment. This system must change and people need to be held accountable. We are not doing our kids and society any favors by pushing them through this flawed system. New standards need to be set and adopted or we're doomed. Are there any fighters out there who want to take on the system? Then let's change it. We have to. Our future depends on it.
