If smaller towns like Miles City and Glasgow, Montana can field strong girls hockey programs, why can't the city of Billings? Great question as we chatted with a caller on the radio this morning.

One of the concerns parents may have is: Ok. I want my little girl to give hockey a try, but I don't want to buy all the equipment, and then find out that she doesn't like it.

Luckily for you, there is a FREE girls hockey event coming up at the Centennial Ice Arena. Not only is the event free, but you can use their hockey equipment free of charge also. Free instruction and free equipment.

The "Girls Try for Free" hockey event is coming up on October 5th at 10:30 AM at the Centennial Ice Arena. According to the event flyer:
