A new study from European Academy of Neurology found too many nightmares can actually KILL YOU. Those of us who average at least one nightmare per week are three times more likely to die before we hit the age of 70.

A new study in England found people who have a bunch of nightmares are more likely to DROP DEAD! SCARY RIGHT?!
The researchers tracked people for nearly two decades. The people who had nightmares at least once a week were THREE TIMES more likely to die before the age of 70. They also found having tons of nightmares makes you age faster. So, before they try to kill you, they'll make you look like a wrinkly old person.
They think it's because our bodies respond to the stress the same way that they would in real life. "Nightmares lead to prolonged elevations of cortisol, a stress hormone closely linked to faster cellular aging."
