
Billings West End Shooting on Wednesday: Suspect Cooperating
Around 11 AM on Wednesday, June 25, the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office responded to a call regarding a shooting on the 7400 block of Burlington Avenue. The altercation involved two adult males.
The male who was shot was conscious and verbally responsive when YCSO deputies and medical personnel arrived on the scene. The man was transported to a local hospital. According to a press release from the sheriff's office at 12:40 PM today, the suspected shooter was cooperating with detectives. Sheriff Mike Linder said in the release,
This appears to be a dispute between the two parties involved, and there is no indication at this time of any danger to those who live in the area. I will update this press release as information becomes available.
