Several dogs at the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter were able to bond with families and find permanent homes this week, but there's still one young guy who hasn't found his person yet.

Every week we feature a different animal from YVAS on Wet Nose Wednesday, and this past week it was a 2-year old Heeler mix named Fido that received the spotlight. Less than 24 hours later, Fido finally found his forever home.

On Thursday afternoon (4/14), our friends at the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter turned their Learning Center on Grand Avenue into "puppy palooza" when two Aussie mix pups along with three Anatolian Shepherd puppies were put up for adoption.

After weeks in foster care, the "adorable balls of fluff" were ready to find their families and it wouldn't take long after photos and videos of the youngsters went viral on social media.

Before the YVAS Learning Center closed at 4:30 pm on Thursday, all 5 of the dogs were headed home with their wonderful new families around Yellowstone County. Here are the puppies that now have FUR-ever homes.

Two older dogs also found their person on Thursday (4/14) at the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter. Chevy the 1-year-old female pit bull mix and Dodge the 5-year-old Australian Shepherd / Kelpie mix have left the shelter and are now resting comfortably in their FUR-ever homes.

There's still one adorable dog at the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter who is waiting patiently for his family.

His name is Doodle Bop, and he's a 2-year-old Labrador mix who is "very friendly and loves making new friends," according to YVAS.
