With only a couple days until the baseball All-Stars from Billings and Laurel head to Sacramento, there's one more fundraiser planned to help support our local team.

Local businesses have stepped up with fundraisers over the past week to help collect $24,000 for the team's travel expenses. 406 Kitchen and Tap Room (1207 N. 27th Street) will host a Bingo Night from 6pm to 8pm tonight (Monday, July 15) to help the team reach its financial goal.

The Montana Senior League All-Stars consists of 15 and 16-year-old players from the Laurel, Burlington Central, and Big Sky Little League.

"Up until the all-star season started, a lot of these kids were rivals of each other," said Head Coach Jeremy Blakenship. "Now we come together and it has been unbelievable how great they've gotten along," Blakenship said. "They're having fun, which is number one the biggest thing in the world."

The Montana Senior League All-Stars will fly out to Sacramento for the West Regionals on Wednesday morning (7/17) with their first game on Friday (7/19) at 11am Billings time. If the Montana All-Stars win the regional, they will then head to the Senior League World Series in Easley, South Carolina July 27 to August 3.

If you would like to donate to the Montana Senior League All-Star team, checks can be sent or dropped off at any Yellowstone Bank branch. Just make your check to the attention of Montana Senior All-Stars. Checks can also be mailed to: Burlington Central Little League, P.O. Box 21283, Billings, MT 59104
