Just Another Day

People asked me over the weekend what I did for my birthday and I said, what do you think? I was building a fence while I wait for better weather to hay. I have never understood why people think they should get the day off just because they were born. If anything, the mom should be the one being celebrated. To me, it's just another day on the calendar, no different from any other. I'm not special just because I was born. You become special for what you accomplish after you're born. If you want to celebrate though, go for it.
