Keep Them Safe Tonight
Obviously Halloween is one of the top nights for pedestrians to get hit by car, but the nationwide stats are pretty alarming.
Kids aged 4-8 are five times more likely to get hit by a car tonight. Especially for those who drive big pick up trucks, these little ones are hard to see when they're heads aren't even above the hood.
Even adults are 43% more likely to get hit. One thing that I learned quick as a parent is that not everyone cares about my kid's safety. That's all on me. We stick to large crowds and do all of the nerdy safety stuff that I used to think was silly when I was a kid.
I wish you all a safe, happy and E.R. free Halloween night!
