Many Montanans enjoy trips to Las Vegas. Airfare is relatively affordable, and budget-savvy travelers can still find reasonably priced accommodations, mainly on Fremont Street or other "off-Strip" hotels.

Coming this fall, Montana fans of Country Music will have a new attraction to check out on the famous Las Vegas Strip. Luke Combs is opening a new bar/restaurant/venue called Category 10. And from what we're hearing, it's going to be pretty awesome.

One thing is constant in Las Vegas: change.

The Las Vegas Category 10 is taking over the space formerly occupied by Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, which closed in 2024. This area is prime real estate, with the Flamingo, LINQ, and Harrah's nearby, and Caesar's Palace directly across the street.

The first Category 10 is in Nashville, where it's been voted "Best New Bar" and "Best Place to Dance." The Las Vegas Category 10 is scheduled to open in October 2026, while another location is coming to Orlando in 2027.

Three floors of entertainment and fun.

Encompassing stories, Category 10 isn’t just another bar on the Strip. It’s shaping up to be a full-scale country entertainment destination, complete with multiple bars, daily live music, a large dance floor designed for line dancing, a VIP bourbon lounge, and a rooftop area overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard.

Early details suggest it could quickly become one of the most talked-about destinations on the Strip, perhaps giving Blake Shelton's Ole Red venue (next to Paris) and Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Bar (near the Cosmopolitan) a run for their money.

Country Music is more popular than ever, and I suspect Luke's venture into Sin City will be a popular spot, not just for the cowboys and cowgirls who show up for the NFR and PRB, but for tourists from around the globe.
