Montanans Are Tough
If you live in Montana, you're tough. There are no two ways around it. You have to be because the Treasure State is a tough one itself and if you want to survive here you better have a strong stance on things.
You don't have to go far to see a tough cowboy to a hard construction worker to a strong-willed lady and that is what I love about this state. We all pull together to make things work and we don't take lip from anyone. Just the way it should be.
I think the rest of the country could take a few lessons from this and it may finally be a better America because of it.
Here are my top 5 reasons Montana is tougher than the rest:
- We Know Hard Work
There's snow removal, fence construction, building construction and so much more. If you know hard work you fit right in.
- We Have Thick Skin
People like to talk smack but what does it matter? Words are words and we know other people's opinions don't matter.
- We Ain't Afraid of Nothin'
Most of us are packin' anyway. Think you're going to rob us in an alley or break into our house? Think again, you're gettin' more than you bargained for.
- Cold? What Cold?
When it comes to drastic temperature changes, we have our fair share. Like a Boy Scout, we go prepared because what may 90 one minute can be 30 the next.
- We Can Be Alone
Whether it's a hinting trip or our significant other just left us. No matter. We can handle being alone. After all, our survival skills are top notch.
