Back when I was a kid, a couple of people had the idea to help teach kids about multiplication. They thought, if they wrote some catchy tunes about it, kids would learn. It worked.

Bob Dorough has passed away at 94. He wrote all and sang most of the original songs. "Three Is A Magic Number" and "Naughty Number Nine" were a couple of my favorites.

Later, they would put out "Conjunction Junction", "I'm Just A Bill" and "Unpacked Our Adjectives". I still use a clip from "Adjectives" whenever Paul's got a bear story. "He was a hairy bear. He was a scary bear."

Very creative gentleman.
