Every week, we highlight an outstanding student from around the Billings area in our Most Valuable Pupil (MVP) program. These are the kids who are going above and beyond at school, in the community, and in the way they treat the people around them.

This week’s MVP is Kylie Prill, a 17-year-old student at Skyview High School.

Some students check a few boxes. Kylie seems to check all of them.

She carries a full load of college and AP classes and maintains an impressive 4.36 GPA, but academics are only part of the story. Kylie is deeply involved at school, participating in seven different clubs and serving in leadership roles in four of them. On top of that, she also manages the school store.

Kylie is thinking about her long-term future. She plans to attend college and pursue a career in physical therapy or neurology to help people live healthier, fuller lives.

Helping others is clearly a theme in her life.

Kylie works with special needs students at school and has logged more than 200 volunteer hours over the past three years, both in and out of the classroom. According to her nomination, she’s the kind of person who wants to make sure everyone has someone in their corner, and she’s often that person.

Whether it’s listening, lending a hand, or simply showing up when someone needs support, Kylie has built a reputation for putting others first. Congratulations to Kylie Prill, this week’s Most Valuable Pupil.
