Thousands Will Get Meals Thanks To Flakesgiving (VIDEO)

With the help of more than 90 delivery drivers, and hundreds of volunteers, The Breakfast Flakes gave out 1,500 food boxes to local families in need on Saturday (11/23).

The annual event, held in the lower parking lot at MetraPark, began around 10 am. on Saturday morning with nearly 100 vehicles lining up to help deliver boxes. Over 500 boxes were delivered to all areas of Billings, Heights, Laurel, Lockwood, and several other communities in the Cat Country 102.9 listening area.

Over 600 people showed up at MetraPark at 12noon to pick up their Flakesgiving food box personally from Mark and Paul. By 12:30 p.m., all those who had been waiting in line received their food box.

Every food box has enough for up to 10 people. That's an estimated 15,000 people that will have a Thanksgiving meal thanks to everyone who helped make Flakesgiving happen.
