The corn maze is a classic good time. I love it when my daughter has a great time just being outside. No batteries, no pixels, just good old-fashioned fun.

This was actually my first trip to Grandpa's farm, so I was surprised by the other activities. We spent quite a bit of time checking out the goats, pigs, sheep, cows and tiny horses. My daughter did the slides a half-dozen times each and even spent some time tossing footballs and baseballs; none of which cost any extra money to do.

As for the maze itself, we didn't make it all the way through. By the time we got in the maze, it was already dusk and after about 30 minutes, I decided to pull the plug and head back the way we came. Getting my 7-year old to leave was pretty easy. I just told her that once it gets dark, people in masks will be out to grab and scare her.
