Montanans are Most Eager to Remodel THIS Part of Their Home
Thinking about a remodel? You’re not alone. According to new research from Cinch Home Services, Montanans are hopping on Google more than 350 times a month to search for bathroom remodeling ideas. That makes it the #1 most-searched home renovation project in Big Sky Country.
The study looked at ten months of Google search data and ranked remodeling interests by area of the home. Not surprisingly, the kitchen came in second for Montana, with 315 monthly searches. Basements were third with 142. Laundry rooms and attics barely made a blip, with 20 and 18 searches, respectively.

I demand a royal throne.
I get the appeal of a bathroom upgrade. You start and end your day in there—it might as well feel like a spa instead of a gas station. Kitchens make sense, too. We all seem to end up hanging out around the kitchen island at every get-together anyway.

Across the U.S., kitchen remodels are the top priority in 28 states, while bathrooms take the top spot in the other 22. But in terms of raw numbers, bathroom remodels are slightly more searched nationwide (153,034 vs. 151,762 monthly searches).
What is your ideal remodeling project?
Cinch says remodeling priorities reflect changing lifestyles. Young families want more kitchen space. Older homeowners might be more focused on making their bathrooms more accessible.
As for me? I’d love to get a mancave shed, but first, I’ve got a leaky bathroom toilet that’s been bugging me for months and an outdated tub that's ready for the dump. Maybe I'll jump on the bathroom remodel bandwagon. My Man Shed will have to wait.
