The three-time GRAMMY® winners behind “Mr. Bojangles” and “Fishin’ in the Dark” brought fans a mountain of songs that helped shape what we now call Americana. And while this isn’t a full goodbye, it is the band’s final run of traditionally scheduled tours, making this Billings stop something a little more special.

Making fans happy since 1966.

The farewell tour coincides with the band’s 60th anniversary, a milestone few groups ever reach, let alone reach while still sounding sharp. Instead of coasting on nostalgia, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band continues to mix beloved classics with newer material, including their upcoming EP Night After Night, produced by dobro legend Jerry Douglas.

It’s their first all-new release in years and proof that the tank isn’t empty yet.

Formed in 1966 as a California jug band, the Dirt Band’s journey has crossed folk, country, rock, bluegrass, and everything in between. Along the way came historic collaborations, from Earl Scruggs to Johnny Cash, and the landmark album Will the Circle Be Unbroken, now safely enshrined in the Grammy Hall of Fame.
