Laurel High Senior Alexandra Tullar Named This Week’s MVP
Each week, we get a glimpse into the next generation of potential leaders here in Yellowstone County, and this week’s MVP checks just about every box you can think of.
Meet Alexandra Tullar, an 18-year-old senior at Laurel High School who has talent, drive, and compassion for her fellow humans.
Last week's MVP: Kylie Prill - Skyview High's Inspiring MVP Student Leader
Cheerleader, track team manager, and talented actor and singer.
Alexandra has been a varsity cheerleader for four years and earned All-American honors. On top of that, she’s spent four years as a manager for the track team, proving she’s just as committed behind the scenes as she is in the spotlight.
She’s been active in theater for three years, participating in both fall musicals and spring plays. She’s also a member of the Laurelaires singing group, National Honor Society, and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Alexandra balances all of this while working a part-time job.
Somewhere in that packed schedule, Tullar makes time to give back.
She’s involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, serving as a mentor and friend to someone who needs it. My kid had a "Big" for several years, whom she absolutely adored, so this one hits home.
According to her nominator, Alexandra has a gift for seeing people as they are, without judgment, and making them feel like they belong.

After graduation, she plans to study business management and hopes to run a nonprofit someday, helping others when they need it most. Congrats to this week’s MVP, Alexandra Tullar, a standout student with a bright future.
