The Alberta Bair Theater has brought an excellent roster of comedian's to Billings in 2013 not the least of which were Lisa Lampanelli and Louie Anderson. Now, the ABT is welcoming the most successful comedian of all-time as measured by record and book sales, TV ratings and just about any other metric... his name is Bill Cosby.

Cosby has been breaking barriers and molds his entire career. You know him as the affable and wise Cliff Huxtable from the 80's "The Cosby Show" but he actually got his start in TV on the late 60's detective drama "I Spy" as Alexander Scott which was the first TV series in history to feature an African-American in a lead role. Then he created the edutaining 70's cartoon Fat Albert. But of course it was "The Cosby Show" that went on to become the highest ranking sitcom of all time. It also, for the first time, portrayed a successful African-American family breaking many stereotypes.

Now the tireless comedian, actor, author, veteran (I could keep going but you get the point) will grace us with his timeless comedy this Friday night at ABT. Tickets are $57 and $67. For more information call 256-6052.
