If you’re looking for a student who defines the word “leader,” look no further than Billings Senior High School’s Gracie Gonzales, our featured Most Valuable Pupil of the Week.

At 17, Gracie has already built a résumé that would make most adults tired just reading it. She’s currently serving her third year as student council president, is captain of the school’s speech and debate team, and was crowned homecoming queen.

Gonzales is also taking AP classes and has already secured early acceptance to Tulane University, having earned her own money to pay her commitment fee.

Gracie’s work ethic doesn’t stop when the school day ends.

Much of her free time is spent organizing student council events, working on projects, or competing in speech and debate. And when she's not doing that, she’s often found working (at the same job she’s held since she was 14).

At home, she’s just as impressive.

Gracie is one of 13 siblings and plays a big role as a supportive, involved big sister. Add in years of honor roll achievements, perfect attendance from 1st through 8th grade, and multiple YMCA leadership awards, and it’s clear she isn't just a busy student; this young lady is someone who consistently shows up and delivers.

Looking ahead, Gracie plans to study architecture in college, and based on everything she’s accomplished so far, it’s a safe bet she’ll build something pretty incredible, both literally and figuratively. Congratulations to this week’s Most Valuable Pupil, Gracie Gonzales.

The Best Small Town Cafe's In Montana

There is something special about the small town cafe. From homemade pies to the waitress knowing your name and the way you like your eggs. These are the places that are the soul of a community, and even though many small towns in Montana have a cafe, it doesn't mean that there aren't small-town cafes in some of the bigger towns in the state.

We take a look and make a list of the best small-town cafes in Montana according to the people of Montana. Not all of those cafes made the list, but our list below is a pretty good start.
